How does the Relining Process Works

We start with a full CCTV drain inspection running a small HD camera through the pipe to see exactly where the damage is, how extensive it is, and whether the pipe’s overall profile is suitable for relining. This footage is recorded and we’ll show it to you directly, so you can see exactly what we found and why we’re recommending a particular approach. You’ll never receive a repair recommendation based on guesswork.
Once we’ve confirmed relining is appropriate, we jet blast the pipe thoroughly to clear any blockage, root material, or loose debris from the walls. This is an important step the liner needs to sit against a clean pipe surface to cure correctly and achieve a strong bond.
The liner itself is a flexible felt tube saturated with epoxy resin. We insert it into the pipe through an existing access point no digging required and inflate it using air pressure so it presses firmly against the interior walls of the old pipe. The resin then cures (hardens) in place, either through ambient temperature or with the help of UV light depending on the system being used, creating a smooth, seamless, jointless new pipe surface within the old one.
Once cured, we run the camera through again to confirm the liner has seated correctly and the pipe is functioning as expected. In most residential jobs, the whole process including the initial inspection, jet blasting, lining, and final check is completed within a single day.
Will pipe relining work if my pipe is full of tree roots?
